Nameless kitty has returned to our homestead this past weekend after a brief trial separation while she lived with my brother. Though brother loved her dearly, sister in law was a bit too allergic to her kittyness so she was sent back.
Sent back indeed. And with a newly realized case of tapeworms. So we brought her to the vet and things will be better now.
I’m sure that Ash is the most excited of the three of us considering that he loves her the most.
Upon the arrival of nameless kitty back into our lives and hearts we decided to celebrate by naming her. Her new name is Wednesday.
Ash + Wednesday. Animals extraordinaire.
3 years agoThoughts of moving across the globe have been put aside for another time. Today’s thought involves a more local move. Like…to the basement to live in a 2 bedroom apartment. Cross your fingers!

3 years agoI just bought all 7 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Amazon because it was only $70 for today only. This makes me happy on multiple levels.
The first of which being the fact that the mister alerted me to the deal knowing how much I liked the show.
Second of which being that I now own a complete series of a show. And it’s a show I can watch over and over. Good to have.
In other news…well, there’s not much to report.
John has been playing Left 4 Dead constantly since it’s release on Tuesday. And I sold my DS. Which is video game related as well.
I think John will never post in here…so we’ll see…This was his idea.

I’m not sure how many people are aware of the fact that today is National Chocolate Cupcake Day…But I’m going to spread the word. You know, now that it’s midnight and no longer chocolate cupcake day. Whatever. At least this way people will be aware for next year.
Anyway, today being a miniature holiday and all, I baked some delicious cupcakes for mister and myself. They are chocolate fudge with dark chocolate frosting. Plus, with Halloween so soon I added some fun wrappers and sprinkles to make them even better.
In other news. It’s sweetest day today too and we forgot all about it. We’re the best kind of sweethearts, the kind that forget all about it. I love it.

This is a picture of our feet in the near-freezing waters of Grand Haven, MI.
This is the day that we visited the West Coast and fulfilled a 2 year wish of mine to actually make it there. Not only did we journey into the frigid waters, but we also flew a kite on the beach for a while.
From Grand Haven we ventured up to Muskegon to visit a little place called Michigan Adventure, which is a staple in any Michiganders life. Shivering Timbers is the best wooden roller coaster I’ve been on. Ever.
